Ivan graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology- Athletic Therapy in June of 2022 and went on to certify as an Athletic Therapist in November of that year. During school Ivan was a student Athletic Therapist with the Bison football team for two seasons where he gained valuable experience with taping, wound care, and acute and chronic injury assessment and rehabilitation both in the field and clinic. Since graduation, Ivan has gained experience working with a variety of teams and sports in the field including badminton, hockey, rugby, soccer, and track and field, as well as experience working in several private practice clinics. Some of the teams that he has worked with include the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, U18 AAA Thrashers Hockey Club, and Hellas Soccer Club. His passion for therapy and promoting wellness has led him to expand his skillset after graduation, including certifications in cupping and k-taping. Ivan strives to empower patients to have control over their own rehab through a combination of exercise and education as he believes that movement is medicine. Outside of work Ivan can be found playing badminton, working out, and enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, fishing, and kayaking.
